Suh in Career Purgatory

It has been a while since we have added someone to the ranks of Career Purgatory.  It seems that the Detroit Lions player Ndamukong Suh is asking for it.

Suh has a reputation as a dirty player and has previously been fined for rough tackles in the season and even met with the commissioner to get an understanding of his actions.  He was ejected from the Thanksgiving football game for stomping on a player, while one could sympathize that it was crazy in the heat of the moment, it is inexcusable seeing the game footage.  Check out the overly dramatized animation and check Youtube for the actual clip.

However during his 2 game suspension he was able to further demonstrate his ability to make poor decisions.  This time off the field as he wrecked his 1970 Chevy in Portland Oregon.

If Suh is able to get back to playing in the NFL the level of scrutiny will be higher going forward.  The current tally of fines levied on the Detroit Lions is looking to be at least $100,000 and $50,000 of that is from Suh.  It is going to get to be pretty hard to stick up for a guy that costs your team money, and causes heartbreak whenever he gets the chance.
