Farwell 2013

For many of you 2013 was marginally better than 2012, and most likely not much better than just before The Great Recession.  Lets take a look at some of the trends that 2013 brought us and what we can expect out of 2014.

New Job Growth

The economy added a little more than 2 million jobs, the fastest pace since 2005, which on the surface shows that the economy is getting ever so slightly better.

Unemployment Statistics

The Bureau of Labor Statistics citing the budget Sequestration decided that collecting data on Mass Layoff reports like it has done since 1995 is no longer worth the effort to gauge the economy.
