Minimum Wage increase for Michigan?

The State of Michigan Senate voted for a minimum wage raise from $7.40 to $9.20 an hour by 2017 and allow for future growth to match inflation in times of low unemployment. Tipped workers would also see a bump from $2.65 to $3.50 an hour.

A separate effort is currently being undertaken with a petition drive to raise minimum wages to $10.10 an hour.
