Submit your story

We know it’s crazy out there, let us know your story or submit a tip for our readers to help the community; because we’re all in Career Purgatory together.  There are plenty of you out there who had a terrible experience at that fast food restaurant, office politics, pizza place, or big box retail establishments, not to mention gas station employees; so feel free to send them our way.

We are open to posting pictures, drawings, even videos though we’d prefer they are embeddable from something like Youtube.com to save on bandwidth. We would require that the use of any media be in your control which you will release to us.  If you do send pictures our way please send them in a .zip file.

Here are the rules:

1) Be sure to include how you would like your story credited. If you do not specify it will be assumed you want it credited as “User Submission” to protect your chances of getting a job (we’re ranked quite high in search).

2) Please specify in your subject line of the email what type of story we’re going to look at. Example – Subject line: (Gas Station Chronicles) if you are a gas station employee, (Office nightmare) if you are stuck in a cubical farm, or (Retail) for those of you that work in a retail setting.

3) Upon submission careerpurgatory.com assumes ownership of any story or tip to be used as seen fit. It is implied that any submissions are sent under free will and without expectation of compensation now or in the future.

So if you have a story you want to get off your chest and share it with the world feel free to send it to us at:

[email protected]

Thanks,

Career Purgatory Staff
