A precarious rebirth has shaped up like a phoenix rising from the ashes of the Great Recession for those of you in Metro Detroit. The once prolific Mediterranean restaurant chain is launching again.
We’ve previously pointed out that the Metro Detroit chain La Shish died during the Great Recession being a victim of the Grim Reaper. It probably would have lived on if not for the founder Talal Chahine’s sudden disappearance to the Lebanon for tax evasion among other issues that you can read about here.
