Detroit Lands President Obama Labor Day Visit
President Obama will visit Detroit on Labor Day to talk about jobs and infrastructure projects. It is rumored he may talk about the hotly debated second US Canadian bridge project.
The visit is clearly an important stop for him, as the UAW is leaning towards striking on Ford, African American unemployment is at a record 27 year high, August had a net zero job growth month, and national U-3 unemployment is at 9.1%. All are important topics on hand for his big Labor Day Visit.
Attendance is free, and suggested that visitors limit personal items to the event.
