Department of Labor Announce Training Programs for Veteran’s

As part of the White House ‘Joining Forces’ program.  The Department of Labor announced a training fund with Microsoft and Intel creating programs to help Veterans transition from their military jobs to private sector employment.

Microsoft announced it would help in five major cities that have veterans Seattle, Wash.; San Diego, Calif., Houston, Texas; Northern Virginia; and Jacksonville, Fla. The company plans to support 10,000 Veteran’s with training over two years.
