Michigan Ends 26 Weeks of Employment this Month

Last March Michigan decided to cut the length of State Unemployment payments from 26 weeks to 20 weeks. This change takes effect on January 15th.  So do not wait to file your claim if you are, or will be laid off in the next couple of weeks.
