Linkedin password scare

 

We’re big fans of the use of Linkedin for your job search.  Today it was confirmed that millions of users passwords were compromised many of them thought to contain the word “Linkedin” as part of the password.  Read the details of the event over at CNET.

If you have a profile you should login and change your password to be safe.  Here is how you do it step by step just to be safe.

Login to your Linkedin account at the very top right hover over your name:

Select settings, when you click on settings you will see this page:

Click change password and this box will popup:

Type in your old password, and your new one you create.  Click change password.

Now your password is all set!  Don’t forget to write it down and keep it somewhere safe.
