Tobacco use in Business Continues to Eliminate Job Opportunities
We’ve written about the use of tobacco harming your ability to get a job in the 2010’s. The latest two employers both in the healthcare industry are Henry Ford, and Beaumont health systems.
As with most workplace tobacco and nicotine bans Henry Ford Health system’s ban has a built in program to help users quit. Essentially the company recognizes that good worker are hard to find and cutting out tobacco user makes it harder yet again to find quality workers.
So if you are looking for yet another way to distinguish yourself from the competition in healthcare you can probably start listing that you are a tobacco free employee, to make it to the top.
