Michigan may end up as a Right To Work State
Governor Rick Snyder has been recently very open about his support to make Michigan a Right To Work state. What this means for many workers is that they can opt out of required union membership. If a place of employment is union and a worker does not join the union can ask for that worker to be fired for not paying union dues.
Today the House voted on the bill to make Michigan a Right-to-Work state, which it passed. The bill need to make it through the state senate before Gov. Snyder can make it law.
