Job Market Still Tough in 2013
It is only the beginning of 2013 but that doesn’t change how competitive the labor market is.
Thousands of people will still show up to hiring events. For Example two hundred openings at a new Target store brought out thousands of applicants. Giving those who showed up a 1 in 35 chance of getting a likely low paying job.
Meanwhile at Delta airlines the company had 22,000 applicants looking to grab one of its 300 job openings.
