Nearly 200,000 to be kicked off MARVIN by end of year
The White House is warning that about 190,000 unemployed workers will be losing their Emergency Unemployment benefits through MARVIN. The White House and House Democrats are making efforts to extend these emergency benefits.
Without action from Congress 4.9 million people nationally including 189,700 in Michigan will lose benefits by the end of next year.
