New College Seniors have a slightly better shot
The job market is still tough out there. There is some new evidence that this years 2014 college graduates that generally hit the market by May have a slightly better shot than last years crop of graduates.
The Labor Department on Tuesday said the unemployment rate for defined as those ages 20 to 29 who earned a four-year or advanced degree was as follows:
2014 college graduates — may have the best shot since 2007 if the rate is under double digits.
2013 college graduates — 10.9 percent.
2012 college graduates — 13.3 percent.
2007 college graduates — 7.7 percent, this was the best year in recent memory.
