California EDD Claim Form Help for Continued Unemployment Benefit Certification Question Information
California EDD instituted a claim form for continued unemployment claims essentially to make it harder for existing unemployment benefit claimants to get benefits. You have to fill out 6 questions. Which will allow the state of California EDD to keep paying your unemployment benefits.

Summary questions
Question 1 – Were you too sick or injured to work? Yes or No
If yes enter the number of days (1-7) you were unable to work.
CA EDD suggests answering no if you were able to work if a full-time job was offered too you. Also no, if you were able to work even though you may have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Question 2 – Was there any reason (0ther than sickness or injury) that you could not have accepted full-time employment each workday?
Answer – “No if you were ready and willing to accept work in your field that matches your job skills and background. – even if your past employer is now closed
Asking about you – Yes means you can’t accept work for other reasons. Answering yes on this will essentially set up a mandatory employment review process and this will delay your unemployment benefit payments.
Question 3 Did you look for work?
Question 4 Did you refuse any work?
Question 5 Did you begin any kind of school or training?
Question 6 Did you work or earn any money, whether you were paid or not?
Summary
Look the EDD put this Claim Form in place to make it more difficult to get your unemployment benefits. So difficult many were greeted with this error message:
