NHL Lockout leading to Twitter Madness
With the NHL cancelling another big block of games and refusing to just call the season as officially cancelled one of the NHL players has landed himself in a sticky Twitter retweet.
Clearly the tensions are rising as players would like to get back to playing. You can see the NHLPA repsonse to the most recent cancellation of games below.
@Dave Bolland found himself in some trouble as he was quick on the gun with his Twitter account. Apparently he retweeted a fan’s post wishing for the NHL commissioner dead. He has since unretweeted it and issued an apology. The issue just goes to show how touchy the world of Twitter can be.
